Foundation Repair Photo Album: Slab Settlement Stabilized with Helical Piers

This homeowner contacted us after noticing large cracks forming in the interior walls and visible separation along the exterior foundation. Doors were sticking, cracks were widening, and it was clear the home was experiencing foundation settlement. After a detailed inspection, we determined that sections of the slab had shifted due to soil movement beneath the home. When the supporting soils can no longer properly bear the weight of the structure, the slab begins to settle and those warning signs start appearing throughout the house. To permanently correct the issue, we installed helical piers beneath the affected areas of the foundation. These steel piers are advanced deep into stable load bearing soil, bypassing the weaker upper layers. Once properly installed, we were able to carefully lift and level the home toward its original position and provide long term stability. Following the lift, cracks were significantly reduced, separation was addressed, and the home was once again properly supported from the ground up.   Another slab home stabilized and another family with peace of mind knowing their foundation is secure for years to come.
